On Tuesday, Russian authorities claimed that Ukrainian drones attacked Moscow. On the other hand, Ukraine accuses Russia of attacking their capital Kyiv, killing at least one person.

Both Ukraine and Russia accused each other of attempted drone attacks on the Capitals Moscow and Kyiv. Russia accuses Ukraine of attacking the capital Moscow by drones. 

On the other hand, Ukraine’s capital Kyiv was targeted by Russia with a third wave of drone strikes in just 24 hours, killing at least one person and sending Kyiv’s residents scrambling into shelters. 

Russia’s defense minister reported that this morning Kyiv carried out a terrorist attack on the capital Moscow using drones. Russian President Vladimir Putin made a statement that we have to hit command centers in Ukraine, neglecting other targets, including civilian homes and other infrastructure. 

In response to this, Ukraine tried to frighten Russia and its residents by striking residential buildings with drone strikes. 

However, Russian groups claimed there was no responsibility for the drone attack on Moscow after increased attacks on Russian soil, including security and energy infrastructure. 

In response to the attacks inside Russia, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Kyiv was watching the attacks with pleasure. 

Meanwhile, Ukraine’s air force reported that Russia attacked the Ukrainian capital Kyiv with a third wave of drone strikes in just 24 hours, from which 29 were shot down

Insignificant Damage

Sergei Sobyanin, Moscow’s Mayor, said the attack caused insignificant damage to several buildings in Moscow. He added two people received medical attention for unspecified injuries. 

Two buildings damaged in the attack were evacuated. One person dead, three injured, and a high-rise building caught fire, during an overnight drone attack in Kyiv. However, it was unclear what caused the blaze, but it was anticipated that falling debris from building and interceptor missiles was the reason behind causing it. 

It was claimed that two upper floors of the building were damaged entirely, causing people to be stuck under the rubble. Moreover, falling debris also caused the fire in a private house and three cars.
