After scoring a hat-trick in the Fifa World Cup Finals on Sunday, Kylian Mbappe won the Golden Boot award, beating Lionel Messi, who scored twice.

Mbappe beat Lionel Messi, who scored twice in the finals and won the Golden Boot award. Mbappe scored 12 goals in the overall tournament. On the other hand, Messi ended up with seven goals, winning him the Golden Ball for the best player.
In the opening game against Australia, Mbappe scored his first goal of the tournament. Then he edged out Denmark by scoring two goals. Unfortunately, France got defeated by Tunisia 1-0.
Mbappe didn’t even get on the scoresheet against Tunisia. Then in the round of 16, Mbappe got back into the action scoring two goals in a 3-1 win over Poland. After their win over Poland, France qualified for the Quarterfinals, where they faced England.
France won the quarterfinals with 2-1, but unfortunately, Mbappe scored nothing. Aurelien Tchouameni and Olivier Giroud kicked the two goals. Again Mbappe made zero goals in a 2-0 semifinal win over Morocco.
Then came the Fifa World Cup Finals, in which Argentina lifted the Trophy, but Mbappe stole the Golden Boot for scoring a hat-trick.
Mbappe goes God Mode in the Finals
Even though Argentina won the final match, Mbappe showed his extraordinary skills and scored three goals alone. When the game reached 80 minutes, it seemed that Argentina won the match as the score was 2-0.
But Mbappe went into god mode and scored two back-to-back goals, bringing France back in the game. In extra time, Messi again scored a winning goal. Unfortunately, it was not a winning goal as Mbappe penned them back again by scoring another goal. Actually, he equalized the goals twice.
