On Thursday, an American real estate investor and reality TV personality, known for starring on HGTV’s show Flip or Flop Christina Hall, announced that she is suffering from lead poisoning.

On her Instagram story, Christina revealed about health issues she is suffering from. Christina said she is suffering from an illness last week. She feared that her ailment is caused due to her breast implants.

Christina said that she has lead and mercury poisoning. According to her, renovating from one house to another for work purposes can be the reason for her health issues. Her small intestine overgrowth problem might also be causing her these health issues. 

Why does Christina have Lead and Mercury Poisoning?

However, according to science, lead, and mercury poisoning happens due to continuous exposure to dangerous chemicals. Many older homes in America have lead paint pipes and other materials. 

Christina Hall is known for starring in HGTV’s show Flip or Flop alongside her husband, Tarek El Moussa. Apart from her television career, being a real estate agent, she is also running a real estate agency in Orange County, California, with her husband, where they used to flip homes.

Christina claimed that flipping homes and working on contaminated construction sites might be the reason for her recent ailment, as she flipped many older homes in America having lead wall paint and pipes. Therefore, repeated exposure to the chemicals may cause her health issues. 

Symptoms and Treatment for Lead Poisoning

If we talk about the symptoms involved with lead and mercury poisoning, high blood pressure, headaches, memory issues, headache muscle, and abdominal pain would be seen in the adults suffering from this ailment.

Chelation therapy is used for the treatment of lead or mercury exposure. In this therapy, an acidic compound attached to metal like lead is injected into a person’s blood suffering from lead exposure. Then the compound is exited from the body through urination.
