Famous American singer and songwriter Madonna Louise Ciccone, aka Madonna, has been widely recognized for her continual reinvention and versatility in music production and songwriting.
While maintaining control over every aspect of her music career, she has pushed the boundaries of artistic expression in mainstream music. On 15 July in Vancouver, Madonna’s 32-city celebration tour was scheduled.
But unfortunately, the tour got postponed.
Why was Madonna’s 32-City Celebration Tour Postponed?
On 24 June, she developed a serious bacterial infection and got hospitalized in the ICU. It led to postponing her tour. Recently, she said her health is improving. But according to doctors, she still has to stay under medical care for complete recovery.
Madonna’s team announced that until her recovery is going on, we will have to pause all commitments, including the 32-city celebration tour. The team will share more details soon regarding on which date the tour will be rescheduled.
What is the 32-City Celebration Tour?
It is a global tour that was supposed to be an ambitious retrospective of the Queen of Pop, Madonna. The tour is actually a celebration of her unmatched catalog of music from the past over 40 years.
The 32-city celebration tour was set to revolve around several US cities, including Chicago, New York, Detroit, and Los Angeles.
In the tour’s video, Madonna announced she’s excited to explore as many songs as possible to give her fans the show they have been waiting for years.

Before the announcement of Madonna’s 32-city celebration tour, a planned biopic about her under development since 2020 with Universal Pictures has been scrapped.
The film made headlines for its alleged guidelines audition process. It is going to be directed by Madonna herself and stars Ozark’s Julia Garner. In late 2020, Madonna also underwent hip replacement surgery after suffering an injury on her Madame X tour.
